When you first start of on Ebay you will be faced with a problem. As you will be selling with out any feedback as a seller people will be afraid to bid on your items. This means that your item may not sell for the full value. This happens because buyers are scared of being scammed. Many new Ebay sellers pop up listing items in order to con people put of money. It ends with Ebay suspending their account but the damage gets done.Buyers experience a bad sale and so they become cautious with purchasing from new sellers.
Feedback is essential in selling. Gain positive feedback by buying low priced items to build your feedback. Once you have 5+ feedback and all positive then you can be in the clear. But some buyers will still be skeptic towards you when you list an item for sale for the first time. You can avoid this by adding pictures you took yourself(don't use random pictures of Google or any other Internet sources) as this will help show buyers that you are authentic and your genuinely selling.
Start of selling low price items just to get feedback. That way you can learn the ropes with out much at risk.I actually sold items from my local pound shop just to get feedback. Some items i made losses on but it had to be done in order to generate feedback.Put in the picture have on a piece of paper you Ebay name in writing next to the item. This reassures sellers that you actually have the item you are listing to sell.Below are pictures i used my self as a newbie to gain trust of Ebayers.
You can also do this in video. To make a video doesn't require much effort. In this day and age every one has mobile phone with a video camera. Use it and host it on Youtube then embed it to your Ebay auctions.
Be specific when listing in auctions. When items are listed with only a few words buyers become suspicious, and it doesn't look very professional. State any known faults or facts regarding the item. Use ebays product description or copy and paste the items specs from a Internet site. It helps clear up any question a buyer has.

Make your returns policy clear and show it well. any terms or conditions you have list them but don't over do it.Items with reserves tend to sell for less or have low biddings,So don't put a reserve on things that don't need it.
TIP: Do not buy feedback from sellers. There are listings on ebay that offer a feedback exchange. This is against Ebay rules. You will eventually get a ban. Buy low prices items for 99pence (the price you will be paying for feedback exchange anyway).
